The traditionally styled restaurant at The Bear Hotel in Woodstock has been awarded two AA rosettes for the quality of its menu. The restaurant focuses on contemporary updates of British cuisine.
The restaurant can seat up to 100 people, and there are several areas available for private dining. The restaurant is open for lunch between 12.30pm and 2pm Monday to Friday (extended on weekends) and for dining between 7pm and 9.30pm Monday to Friday, 10pm on Saturdays and 9pm on Sundays.
The hotel also offers delicious Cotswolds afternoon tea in the Churchill Lounge, providing delicacies including sandwiches, cakes and scones.
During the warmer months The Bear Hotel also provides al fresco dining on the rear summer terrace. Light meals and beverages are served daily between 10am and 10pm. In the winter the hotel bar has an open fire, which builds a cosy atmosphere in which to enjoy an evening drink.
