Weddings
The old-fashioned ambience of The Bear Hotel Woodstock lends particularly well to wedding celebrations. The hotel is not licensed for civil ceremonies. However, the ceremony can be held within the adjacent Town Hall or nearby church, before returning to the hotel for the reception.
The hotel restaurant is the largest space suitable for wedding receptions, with a maximum capacity of 95, although the meeting spaces can be used for more intimate celebrations. The Newbold and Cotswold Rooms in particular are ideal for cosy wedding breakfasts. Alternatively, the hotel can entirely give itself over to a wedding party, from check-in to check-out the next day (subject to number of room bookings).
